The Environment Agency has published a Regulatory Position Statement  (RPS) that applies to the pEPR obligations contained in the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging and Packaging Waste) Regulations 2024. The RPS delays the introduction of nation of sale and self-managed organisational waste data collection and reporting under pEPR until 2026. The Environment Agency will withdraw this RPS on 31st December 2026.
