Independent ISO readiness and implementation support for Amazon sellers
Amazon suppliers are increasingly being asked to demonstrate certification to recognised, accredited ISO standards. For many organisations, this raises questions around what is required, which standards apply, and how to approach certification correctly.
We provide independent ISO readiness and implementation support to help Amazon sellers understand these requirements and prepare appropriately for (IAF) UKAS-accredited certification by an independent certification body.
Amazon operates complex supply chains and relies on suppliers to demonstrate effective management of quality, information security, environmental responsibilities, and health & safety.
As part of this, suppliers may be asked to hold certification to one or more of the following standards:

ISO 9001 – Quality Management

ISO 14001 – Environmental Management

ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety

ISO/IEC 27001 – Information Security
In many cases, Amazon will specify that certification must be accredited, meaning certificates issued by a certification body accredited by a recognised accreditation body (such as UKAS in the UK).

This separation ensures certification decisions remain objective and credible.
Accredited Certification
Accredited certification provides assurance that audits are conducted in line with internationally recognised requirements and are subject to independent oversight by an accreditation body.
For Amazon suppliers, this distinction is important, as not all ISO certificates are issued under accreditation.
